because every child deserves the chance to move forward.

Created in honor of Brooks Bolner.

Brooks entered the world nine weeks early and was later diagnosed with cerebral palsy. His journey has included therapy appointments, specialist visits, insurance limitations, and plenty of uncertainty—but also extraordinary determination. When Brooks began DMI intensive therapy, it became a game changer. We watched him grow stronger and more confident, reaching milestones we once only hoped for. Each hard-won step showed us what can happen when a child has access to the right care.

Unfortunately, therapies like DMI are rarely covered by insurance. Their cost can place life-changing care out of reach for many families. We created Book It with Brooks from a belief rooted in our own experience: no child should miss the opportunity to grow, move, and reach their full potential because of financial barriers. This foundation honors Brooks's journey by helping more children and families move forward.

Care today. Possibility tomorrow.

Book It with Brooks Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization helping children and families access the therapies, resources, and support they need to move forward. We work to ease the financial barriers that can place essential care out of reach today, while supporting research and long-term solutions that expand what is possible for every child tomorrow.

A child's needs do not always fit within an insurance plan. Families may face limits on visits, uncovered therapies, and practical costs that add up along the way. Our mission begins in that gap: helping make care more accessible, so families can focus on their children's next steps.

What we support

Every child's path is different. These priorities guide how we want to help families now and expand possibilities for the future.

Therapies outside insurance

Insurance coverage can end before a child's need for care does. We aim to help families pursue therapies beyond those limits, making room for continued practice, growing confidence, and each child's next milestone.

Resources for families

Care extends beyond the therapy room. We seek to support the resources and practical needs that help families navigate daily life and carry their children's progress into everyday moments.

We believe in meeting today's needs while looking ahead. As the foundation grows, we hope to support research and opportunities that broaden access to care and improve outcomes for children.
